POOL OPENING

Remove pool cover, clean cover, fold and store with customer

Power wash 3ft of deck around pool perimeter removing winter stains

Install pool jets, baskets, railings, ladders, lights and diving board

Assemble pool equipment, install plugs, gauges, turbo cell, and miscellaneous fittings

Start pool filling and notify customer
-
Initial chemical disinfection treatment with liquid chlorine shock and algaecide
-
Start pool filtration system, auto cleaner and any chemical automation equipment
-
Vacuum pool using a leaf trap, brush pool
-
interior surface, skim surface and empty baskets, clean filter if required

Test pool chemistry and balance pool water as required

MAINTENANCE
-
Clean waterline around pool and brush pool surface

Skim pool surface
-
Vacuum pool using a leaf trap

Clean skimmer baskets and pump baskets

Backwash filter or clean cartridges when required

Test pool water for chlorine, bromine, ph, alkalinity, calcium, stabilizer and salinity levels

Balance pool chemistry, empty auto cleaner basket, check equipment

POOL CLOSING
-
Vacuum and brush pool interior
-
Drain pool water to proper winterization level
-
Blow all water out of plumbing lines and add antifreeze where required

Add appropriate chemicals to balance pool water for the winter

Shut off electrical and gas services to the pool equipment

Drain and winterize all pool mechanical equipment

Install winter pool cover and store away pool equipment
